In two months I will become a grandfather. Yikes.
In anticipation of this move from adulthood into old age, I have decided to create this blog in hopes that it will serve as a record of my life and what it is like to become a grandfather, while still dealing with all the responsiblities of being a father, a son, a husband, a brother, an uncle, an employee, and the list goes on and on and on.
As for the name of the blog G PAPA. That comes from my own daughter's blog where she teaches 4 year old kids. This past week, one of the kids was asked if they had ever heard a piece of music. The child responded that they had heard the music at my "G Mama's" house.
I don't know if that is an appropriate name for me. It may be too hip, and too cool for me, but I'll give it a try and see if I can't live up to it.
